Acoustic solution made from 16,000 PET bottles
Intrum, a leader in credit and asset management, has built an operational centre for sustainability, technology and innovation in Malaga, Spain. Ergonomic workstations and the interior design of the work zones were created for the employees on two almost identical floors.
ECHOJAZZ partner Espacio Aretha has collaborated with Etc Consultores in the development of the project for the acoustic analysis and climate control of this space with a high density of people. This involved integrating various high-performance acoustic solutions into the interior design of the space, marking out the working and transit areas and more clearly defining the distribution and functionality of each space.
48 EchoBaffle® rectangular ceiling absorbers in beach beige and 34 EchoSail® round ceiling sails in aqua blue were used on the two floors, carefully integrated into the lighting concept. A total of 16,000 recycled PET bottles were installed with the absorbers. The measures were completed with furniture by Pedrali and Crassevig for common areas, waiting zones, cafeteria and other representative areas.
