Curved EchoBoard® at Google

At the library room in Google’s new Zurich offices, the requirement was that employees should be thoroughly protected from noise. A special solution had to be found to allow the EchoBoard® to run around the edges of the desk.

The acoustic board was tapered in the corners with targeted cuts and thus made bendable. A masterful collaboration between designers and the ECHOJAZZ programmers at the cutting plotter. The only material visible is the coloured EchoBoard®, a tailor-made acoustic protection with a very clean look.
