DESoft Sophisticated: A new office experience
Idoia Otegui has designed the offices of the insurance company Markel on the 34th floor of a high-rise building in Madrid. The approximately 1,000 square metres were designed with the soft sophisticated concept.
The design creates a balance between classic sobriety and creative expressiveness – a working environment that increases productivity and well-being through organic shapes, warm materials and optimised acoustics. The aim is to create an atmosphere that is both stimulating and relaxing, reduces noise and encourages teamwork.
ECHOJAZZ partner Aretha supported the project with technical advice and sustainable acoustic solutions. The ECHOJAZZ light EchoLED BAFFLE has been used in various rooms because it perfectly epitomises the soft sophisticated concept.
