Technology as a design element

SCOPE Architekten have realised the new headquarters of Schweickert GmbH in Walldorf, Germany. Both the global networking and the vision of “from electricity to IT” are reflected in the design.

Visible installations were harmoniously integrated throughout the building and ventilation pipes and electrical routes run through the floors on the ceilings like a network. The acoustic grids on the ceilings by ECHOJAZZ in red and anthracite are part of this concept, which was implemented by the interdisciplinary team consistently and with attention to detail.

We also congratulate the building on receiving the “Best Workspaces Award 2022”, “German Design Award 2022” and “iF Design Award 2022”.
