THE UPCOMING SAFETY MEASURES
Upcoming planned relaxation of safety measures in the service, retail and social sectors
In the retail trade and services sectors, relaxation of safety measures are being planned. National regulations require that all open facilities and events must protect employees, the public and customers. All employers or event organisers are responsible for their protection. They are advised to develop and implement a protection concept.
The relaxations of safety measures concern the following areas:
- • DIY and garden centres, nurseries and flower shops are allowed to reopen.
- • Services with physical contact such as hairdressing salons, massage or tattoo providers and beauty salons will be allowed to resume operations.
- • Self-service facilities such as solariums, car washes or flower fields may reopen.
- • Health professionals are allowed to perform all procedures on an outpatient basis, including non-urgent procedures. This applies, for example, to doctors and dentists in private practices, physiotherapists or medical masseurs.
- • Hospitals are again allowed to carry out all operations and reopen their outpatient services.

An overview of the central requirements that will apply to the catering industry from the relaxation phase onwards – namely restaurants, bars and pubs:
- • Maximum of four people per table. Parents with their children are excluded from this rule.
- • Seating is compulsory during consumption: all guests must be seated.
- • The establishments are only allowed to serve food and drink; other offers such as concerts or games are prohibited.
- • Two metres distance or separating elements.
- • Hygiene and distance: The applicable hygiene and distance rules must be observed. The establishments need a protection concept.

The company’s protection concept must ensure that the following requirements are met. Sufficient and appropriate measures must be provided for each of these requirements. The employer and those responsible for the company are responsible for the selection and implementation of these measures. - • All persons in the company should clean their hands regularly.
- • Employees and other persons keep a distance of 2 m between each other.
- • Regular cleaning of surfaces and objects after use as required, especially if they are touched by several people.

ECHOCLEAN® SPRAY BOTTLE (500 ml): RECOMMENDED BY PHARMACISTS
Ethanol with volatile denaturing additive is the most viable solution for surface disinfection against viruses!
• The virucidal effect occurs within 1-2 minutes.
• The ethanol (70%) evaporates without residue.
• The water added (30%) is largely lime-free and evaporates within minutes. The denaturing additive, in our case camphor, is also volatile, albeit it evaporates more slowly. It is odourless in the added quantities, but makes the drinking of the alcohol impossible (legal requirement). Both substances have no oxidative or reductive effect on pigmented polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fibres.
• The solution is flammable due to the high ethanol content, certain safety measures must be taken on site.
ECHOCLEAN® for surface disinfection will be supplied on request!
