DENew spaces for SPG Intercity and Cushman & Wakefield
The independent real estate service companies Intercity Group and Alliance partner Cushman & Wakefield rely on ECHOJAZZ in room acoustics.
On two floors, there is a coworking space where, in addition to the decorative acoustic ceiling elements EchoBaffle® WAVE, our EchoSail® ceiling sails were used. The wall coverings in the privacy rooms were lined with EchoBoard® and the workstations used EchoCove® DESK. Overall, we were able to upcycle around 9,500 PET bottles for the project.
The modern workplace concept with its many retreat and meeting zones allows the employees maximum flexibility. These include other flexible workstations that are available for mobile work in the Zurich Central Business District (CBD). Here, for example, the time between appointments can be used efficiently and relaxed. “All employees have laptops that can be connected to a workstation on the Seestrasse, in a CBD office or in the home office according to their needs and agenda,” says Ro-bert Hauri. An important part of the workspace concept in the SPG Intercity House are the many zones in which one can meet formally or informally, as well as soundproofed retreats for quiet work and telephone calls. Last but not least, the team has a separate break room with a modern kitchen. At a “refrigerator” of the Zurich start-up “Felfel” (www.felfel.ch) you can buy daily freshly delivered meals at reasonable prices.
A successful company first thinks of its employees. Because a satisfied team does a better job, “says CEO Robert Hauri in a nutshell. “This also benefits our customers.” The modern infrastructure is also reflected in the architecture: deliberately minimalist, sustainable, highly functional yet warm and inviting.
