Happy tree friends

Even ugly concrete columns can be transformed into beautiful noise-absorbing objects with EchoBoard. Thanks to a wrapping with perforated acoustic board the pillars are turned into trees with leaves and clouds also made of EchoBoard®. Lovely project in the library at Herning Municipality in Denmark, made possible by our local partner Ultima K.

The kids love first and foremost their new “happy tree friends” in the library. The soft surface of the EchoBoard® keeps the kids safe when accidentally bumping against the pillars.

The municipality embraces the acoustic panels that muffle happy cries and children’s laughter. Of courses the panels are certified M1 emission free materials. And regular cleaning with disinfectant or hydrogen peroxide does not harm.
